We have not done a post in a while that explains who we are. We are Chihuahua lovers. We are foster homes. We do not have a facility.

When you foster with Chihuahua Rescue and Referral, you become part of a team. We have a Yahoo Group volunteer Website where you can post questions, add photos, bio information, and get encouragement through the process, plus helpful files on how to and needed forms.  We have Vets set up with us with special rates for Rescue and volunteers to help. All we want you to do is "love on the dog" so when that forever home comes along, it is an easy transition. If you are worried about the dog coming into your home attacking your current dogs or children, rest assured we have people evaluating the dogs every step of the way. From being pulled by a shelter or at time of owner surrender.

When you are looking to adopt, we know our application process is thorough, but please understand we are trying to match you with the perfect dog.  And, we want to find the perfect family for every dog. That sentence right there is non-negotiable. CR&R Volunteers discusses pretty much every dog and what the ideal home is. 

We love all of these dogs as our own. We will take in a new puppy and bottle feed it till it is healthy enough to be on its own and we will take a senior dog and love on that wiggle butt till it stops wiggling.
