Meet Charlie #1

Charlie was found by a couple of Good Sam members in a mud puddle and taken to the King County Animal Shelter. Charlie is about 3 years old. 7 lb, neutered, up-to-date on shots. Charlie has 3 great legs plus one that doesn't work. Charlie is a very devoted guy. He only wants one person in his life at a time. Cute beyond belief. Crabby, sure he can be but never with his special person. He nips and bites when afraid, hurting, protecting, eating, and settled into his spot and not wanting to be moved, and definitly when in his crate. He is also a marker. Something about him makes him a confrontation magnate with dominate housemates. He is a love, and just wants to be with his person. Crate trained, pottys outside, does well with other dogs. Not a good guy for children. Anybody that adopts Charlie will have a loyal friend for life. Adoption FEE is $150. CONTACT his FOSTER Mom at jodjo@comcast.net

Steven

If you like to play fetch, here is the chihuahua for you!  Steven will play fetch with you as long as you can throw the ball.  He is a 5 year old neutered male chihuahua with a heart of gold, long legs and a great temperment.  His previous owner was not able to continue to give Steven the needed care he deserves, so he was surrendered to Chihuahua Rescue and Referral to find a family who would be home more and maybe have another small dog he could play with but NO small children.  Steven is white with brown markings.  He will also play dead on command, and loves the sound of a door bell or big truck. He would make a good pet for someone older with a wood fence (he can climb a chain link fence) and with not many guests. Not much bothers him on walks, passing children, other dogs or most noises.  His long legs will get your heart pumping for that great workout with your best friend.  Cats are okay, other small dogs are fine as well as older children.  Steven would not be good in an apartment nor with very small children under 7.  Steven does have a heart murmor; weighs about 7 pounds; is current with all his shots; recent dental; micro chipped and ready to go to his 'forever home'.  His adoption fee is $200 and an Adoption Application with references must be completed as well as a Home Visit.  For more information contact  gloria@wavecable.com
